เครื่องทดสอบสำหรับการทดสอบความไวไฟของวัสดุสิ่งทอและวัสดุอื่น ๆ โดยมีวิธีการทดสอบดังนี้:
1.วิธี A-1 (Flammability Test, 45˚ Micro Burner Method) และ A-2 (Flammability Test, 45˚ Meker Burner Method):
– ปรับความสูงของเปลวไฟตามมาตรฐาน
– ให้ความร้อนแก่ตัวอย่างตามเวลาที่กำหนด
– วัดพื้นที่ที่ถูกเผาไหม้หลังจากจับเวลาการลุกไหม้ของเปลวไฟ
2.วิธี B (Surface Flammability Test):
– ตั้งแรงดันแหล่งความร้อนที่ 3.92 kPa
– ปรับความสูงของเปลวไฟที่ 24 มม.
– ให้ความร้อนแก่ตัวอย่างในแนวนอนเป็นเวลา 30 วินาที
3.วิธี D (Flame Contact Method):
– ปรับความสูงของเปลวไฟที่ 45 มม.
– ให้ความร้อนแก่ตัวอย่างที่มีขดลวดแทรกในมุม 45˚ จนกระทั่งการเผาไหม้สิ้นสุด
– ใช้ความร้อนเปลวไฟที่ปลายตัวอย่างจนถึงจุด 90
